About the Role
This role is for our client in the IT sector, where the candidate will work as a Business Analyst, leading the Business Analysis activities for the Modernization and full re-write of enterprise .NET Applications. The Business Analyst serves as a Senior Level Analyst responsible for leading the Business Analysis activities, acting as a Bridge between business/program teams and Software development teams ensuring alignment, clarity and traceability from Intake of requirements through Delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Elicitation, Documentation and Validation of Business, Functional and Non-functional requirements.
- Facilitate Interviews and working sessions with Program teams, SME’s and Technical Staff.
- Develop User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and process flows.
- Document current state workflows, System dependencies and processes.
- Design future state workflows aligned with Modernization goals and .NET Architectural changes if any.
- Create process Maps, Decision Trees and Workflow Diagrams using Visio and other Modeling Tools.
- Support Data Migration Planning by documenting Data Models, Business Rules and transformation Logic.
- Experience developing Quality-of-service (non-functional) requirements.
- Experience developing Report Specifications.
- Strong organization and writing skills.
- Provide requisite Support for Quality Assurance testing, UAT Coordination, Defect Triage and Validation of Fixes.
- Review System Behavior aligns with documented requirements and Program expectations.
- Communicate Project Status, Risks and Decisions to PM and other leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7 to 8 years of relevant experience required.
- Strong understanding of Application Architecture, re-architecting, or rebuilding strategies.
- Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, Microservices and modern DevOps practices.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with Project & Portfolio management tools like Clarity PPM, Azure DevOps, SharePoint and other off-the-shelf operational systems.
