Automation Tester

About the Role

This role is for our client in the healthcare sector, where you will be working as an Automation Tester to perform QA and Testing work related to support the Managed Care Transition Project. You will be responsible for assessing the testability of requirements, developing test cases, and executing functional, integration, and regression tests. The ideal candidate will have experience with Test and Defect Management Tools, such as HP ALM and JIRA, and be proficient in Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the testability of requirements and develop test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests.
• Develop SQL queries.
• Script automated Test Suites.
• Review, analyze, and report test results.
• Work with end users to ensure user acceptance testing is thorough and complete.
• Communicate effectively with technical and business audiences.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of experience assessing the testability of requirements and developing test cases.
• 5 years of experience in the execution of functional, integration, and regression tests.
• 2 years of experience with Test and Defect Management Tools, such as HP ALM and JIRA.
• 2 years of experience developing SQL queries.
• 3 years of experience in the review, analysis, and reporting of test results.
• 3 years of experience on testing web applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
