Business Analyst

About the Role

This role is for our client in the business sector, where the candidate will work as a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with applications built on salesforce and have QA/Testing experience. The Business Analyst will work closely with the development team to ensure that the solutions meet the business requirements. The role is a 1yr+ contract that can extend, dependent on business need.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that the solutions meet the business requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and maintain documentation of business processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track business performance.
• Provide input to the development team on the design and development of new systems and processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with new systems and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience as a BA working with applications built on salesforce.
• QA/Testing experience.
• Local, State, or Federal government experience.

Tools & Technologies

• Salesforce.
• QA/Testing tools.

Work Schedule & Duration

• Assignment duration: 1yr+ contract that can extend, dependent on business need.
• On-site requirements (non-negotiable): Tuesdays and Wednesdays are REQUIRED on-site days.
• Candidate location: Candidates MUST be located within 90 miles of Lansing at the time of submission (non-negotiable).

Interview Process

The process typically includes an initial screening followed by a virtual interview on Teams. Next round is a one hour in-person interview at the office. First round interview will be focused on the experience listed on the candidate's resume and soft skills. The interviews typically include the hiring manager and a couple members of the development team, typically an architect or specialist.
