About the Role
This role is for our client in the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a team to design, implement, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide 24/7 support and troubleshoot critical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage Oracle OCI environments, including database, middleware, and infrastructure components.
- Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications and ORDS services.
- Configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server and related technologies.
- Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and conversions.
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and replication strategies using RMAN and other tools.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, implementing tuning recommendations.
- Implement and automate routine tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture.
- Ability to design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with Oracle OEM Cloud Control for monitoring and management.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of database security best practices.
- Expertise in performance tuning and optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Work Schedule & Duration
- 5 days a week at the office
- After-hours and weekend support required based on workload
- On-call rotation required
