Cloud Engineer

About the Role

This role is for our client in the IT sector. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various teams to design and deliver optimal solutions for large-scale app and infrastructure cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud architecture and design, with a focus on Palo Alto cloud firewalls.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Applications Owners, Network and Security teams to design and deliver optimal solutions for large-scale app and infrastructure cloud solutions.
• Develop and implement cloud architecture and design solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to ensure the organization remains competitive.
• Develop and maintain documentation of cloud solutions and infrastructure.
• Provide training and support to other teams on cloud solutions and infrastructure.
• Participate in the development of cloud strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security and governance policies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design, with a focus on Palo Alto cloud firewalls.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure management, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in cloud security and compliance, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Tools & Technologies

• Palo Alto cloud firewalls.
• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Cloud security and compliance tools, including PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Cloud monitoring and management tools, including Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Work Schedule & Duration

• Hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days in office and 3 days remote.
• 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

Interview Process

The interview process will consist of 1 round, virtual/online.
