About the Role

This role is for our client in the traffic management sector. The candidate will be part of a small team supporting the 24x7 traffic management center operations. The individual will be responsible for both coding and analysis, working closely with the business operations team on requirements, testing, and delivery. The candidate needs to be able to work on projects full lifecycles and with users, technical team, local and state IT resources, and diverse transportation ITS devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze software applications for traffic management center operations.
  • Work closely with the business operations team on requirements, testing, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with technical team, local and state IT resources, and diverse transportation ITS devices.
  • Participate in technical on-call responsibilities rotated among the team members.
  • Develop good business aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Design, develop, and test software applications.
  • Document and train users on software applications.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business operations team, technical team, and users.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JS for application design and development.
  • Experience with JSON, AJAX, REST API, Websockets for web application development.
  • General application design and development experience with 7 years of experience.
  • Good business aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • HTML, CSS, JS for application design and development.

  • General application design and development tools.
  • Development tools: JetBrains Intellij IDEA, Webstorm, postman.
  • Build tools: NPM & JetBrains TeamCity.

Work Schedule & Duration

  • Hybrid alternate weeks of 2/3 days a week onsite.
  • Must be willing to relocate prior to start of assignment.
