You will operate in a complex technical environment where reporting solutions are deeply integrated with various web-based and legacy applications, requiring a strategic approach to minimize disruption. The successful candidate will drive the migration from unsupported versions to the latest SAP standards, directly impacting the organization's operational efficiency and security posture. • Develop and validate a phased migration architecture, ensuring alignment with SAP-supported upgrade paths from BusinessObjects 4.2 to 4.3, and subsequently to 2025.
  • Execute the migration of the reporting platform and supporting components to Windows Server 2022, ensuring compatibility and performance optimization.
  • Manage the transition of Crystal Reports from version 2016 to 2020, addressing compatibility issues and updating report definitions as necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and compatibility risks associated with the current unsupported software versions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and application owners to test migrated reports, schedules, and publications, ensuring data accuracy and functional integrity.
  • Document the new system architecture, configuration changes, and operational procedures to support long-term maintainability and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide technical guidance on licensing, patch management, and best practices for the new SAP BusinessObjects environment.

  • Deep expertise in SAP BusinessObjects versions 4.2, 4.3, and 2025, including repository management, security, and scheduling.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Crystal Reports, specifically migrating from 2016 to 2020 and integrating with modern platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, particularly version 2022, including IIS configuration and service management.
  • Experience with enterprise integration points, including Active Directory, SQL databases, and web-based application interfaces.
  • Ability to perform complex system assessments, identifying technical debt and formulating risk-mitigation strategies.
