About the Role
This role is for our client in the technology sector, specifically within the Department of Management's Division of Information Technology (DoIT). As a Senior .NET Developer, you will contribute to advancing DevOps initiatives and delivering secure, high-quality technical solutions for customers. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance development practices and automate pipelines that accommodate substantial data volumes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable DevOps processes to support the development and deployment of enterprise-level applications.
- Lead automation, CI/CD, and cloud technology initiatives, including centralizing code repositories within GitHub or Azure DevOps to streamline workflows.
- Evaluate and enhance coding practices by integrating automated scanning tools to uphold rigorous standards of code quality and security.
- Proactively manage technical debt and drive continuous improvement throughout development cycles.
- Optimize processes related to code branching, merging, and releasing to ensure seamless and efficient deployments.
- Automate build and deployment workflows to minimize manual intervention and maximize operational efficiency.
- Enhance unit and integration test coverage to guarantee reliability and performance of applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in .NET Core, applying structured, pattern-based development practices for complex logic implementations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core development.
- Security practices, including secure coding, static code analysis, data protection/encryption, etc.
- Azure DevOps, GIT, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, CI/CD.
- Automated Testing and documentation, Test Driven Development, Gating Deployments.
- TSQL language skills with MS SQL.
- Code quality and security scanning tools.

Work Schedule & Duration
