About the Role
This role is for our client in the technology sector, seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow applications and solutions. The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for customizing and configuring the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs, as well as providing ongoing support and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ServiceNow applications and modules, including form design, workflow creation, and custom scripting.
- Customize ServiceNow modules and applications to fit the specific needs of the business, including incident management, change management, problem management, and more.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems or platforms using web services, APIs, or other integration tools.
- Identify and resolve issues with the ServiceNow platform, including debugging and troubleshooting problems with scripts, workflows, or integrations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to understand requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Implement best practices for ServiceNow development and administration, including coding standards, testing procedures, and change management processes.
- Participate in system upgrades and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven ServiceNow experience (3 years)
- Web applications, networks, protocols, and email (SMTP, POP3) (3 years)
- BASIC understanding of ITIL v3 methodologies (3 years)
- Understanding of enterprise IT architecture (3 years)
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow development and administration
