About the Role

This role is for our client in the our client, where the successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing administrative technology policies for the our client. The ideal candidate will have experience writing IT governance policies and procedures, as well as researching market trends for our client IT organizations. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with senior staff and legal teams to review and update policies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing PowerPoint presentations and assisting workgroup meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting of Administrative Technology Policies for the our client(60%)
  • Researching policies and procedures of like organizations (States, Counties, Locals, Universities) for framework of City of Columbus IT Policies (20%)
  • Working with Leadership, Senior Staff and Legal to review and update drafted policies (10%)
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and assisting workgroup meetings (10%)
  • Developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address policy gaps and inconsistencies
  • Providing training and support to staff on new policies and procedures
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT governance and policy development

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience writing administrative / technology IT governance policies and procedure (4 years)
  • Experience with researching market trends for our client IT organizations (3 years)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with senior staff and legal teams
  • Experience with policy development and implementation
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends

Work Schedule & Duration
